A Youth Awareness Community (AYAC) is a non profit organization committed to teaching important life skill sets to the youth of our communities.

Our Vision
Fostering life skills to establish a foundation of prosperity and self-awareness for young individuals aged 5-24, regardless of ethnicity or background.

OUR PROGRAMS
Reading & Writing Tutoring
We offer Reading & Writing assistance for all of our member from Kindergarten through High School Seniors. Formal paper assignment edits are also provided and included for college members up to age 24.
Math Tutoring
We offer math tutoring for all of our members from Kindergarten through High School Seniors.
Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship
We teach our youth about credit. How to build wealth utilizing credit. Free credit repair for members, ages 18-24. Personal/business funding strategies. How to structure your credit report for funding. How to properly structure and open a business.
Chess & Critical Thinking
This program consists of teaching different methods of critical thinking through the strategies of chess. Chess helps the youth to value commitments, understand the value of hard work, and it increases concentration.
Engineer and Recording Arts
We provide knowledge on how to build a studio and budgeting, assist with learning the process of recording an artist or instruments within the studio setting, and offer guidance with understanding how recording equipment and software works.
Automotive Repair
We teach basic knowledge of automotive repairs. Such as tire changing, oil change, replace fuses, replace lights, replace a/c filters, and other minor auto repairs.
Semi-Trucking
We teach the basics of how operate semi- trucks. Basic mechanics of semi trucks. How to operate dry trailers and reefers. Educate on the proper steps to owning and operating a successful trucking company.
Home Improvements
We teach a wide variety of basic home improvement skills, such as, putting up sheet rock, replacing/changing door knobs and locks, interior and exterior painting, landscaping, and replacing light fixtures.
Health and Wellness
We offer Health Classes provided by a Board-Certified Registered Nurse, to include, but not limited to, CPR and choking prevention on adults and children, and demonstrating concepts that teach the importance of staying active, eating healthy, and maintaining lifestyle choices that promote future disease prevention.
Mental Health
We use the best evidence-based practices in Mental Health to work with our youth. We teach kids emotion regulation, impulse control, communication skills, and encourage expression of feelings in an effort to develop mentally healthy youth.
Creative Writing & Filming
In regards to creative writing, this program provides guidance with idea development, storytelling, mythology analysis, and play/scriptwriting. The ability to successfully transfer the obtained creative writing knowledge into a film would be a key outcome.
Weapon Safety
Within this program we teach safety and fundamentals on how to properly handle a weapon. Also we teach rules and regulations to carry a weapon in the State of Florida. Young Adults aged 21 and over will be able to obtain a Concealed Weapons Permit.
Performing Arts
We provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where youth can explore and develop their talents in dance, acting, singing, and performance. Through professional training, creativity, and collaboration, we strive to build confidence, foster artistic expression, and cultivate a lifelong passion for the arts.
Mental Strength & Physical Fitness Training
We help youth build mental and physical strength through a wide variation of structured workouts. We also provide coaching that assists in delivering specialized physical training development and well-being.
Culinary Arts Program
Teaching basic culinary arts involves equipping students with fundamental cooking skills, kitchen safety knowledge, and an understanding of various culinary techniques. The goal is to develop a strong foundation that students can build upon, whether for personal enjoyment or a professional career in the culinary field.
Self Defense
We teach basic self defense skills, conflict resolution, and discipline techniques using a wide range of options that promote a means to stay safe and defend yourself in most situations.
Cosmetology
The Cosmetology program consists of three different components. Certified Barber skills, hair braiding, and board certified esthetician techniques.
Baseball
We teach the fundamentals and rules of baseball. Through the game of baseball it also builds youth leadership and team building skills.
